OnePlus Nord CE 5 Tipped for June Launch in India, Expected Price Around Rs 25,000

OnePlus appears set to roll out its new generation of Nord phones, the first being the successor to last year's Nord CE 4, probably the OnePlus Nord CE 5. The phone has already appeared on certification sites — Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) and Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), in the UAE and India, respectively, indicating a launch in the near future. Although previous rumors pegged the launch month as May, new updates have shifted the window into June. Based on the earlier price range and trends, we would anticipate the price to start around Rs 25,000 for the Nord CE 5.
As per tipster, Debayan Roy, the phone will have a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED flat panel with a silky smooth 120Hz refresh rate. In place of its predecessor's Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, whereas the 5 of the Nord CE ships with a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 under the hood. This new processor will provide decent performance for everyday tasks and casual gaming with power efficiency under control. The more impressive is the battery — rumors point to a whopping 7,100mAh unit, one of the biggest ever on a OnePlus device. The phone is also rumored to support 80W fast charging, which should cut charging time in half.
On the Nord CE 5 camera side, the phone could have a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor (Sony's LYTIA LYT-600) and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens (Sony IMX355). There should be a 16-megapixel selfie and video calling camera.
Leaked images indicate that the Nord CE 5 may come with a fresh design, featuring a pill-shaped camera module reminiscent of some of the iPhone variants. The device may also release in a new Pink color variant, providing a new look in the Nord series.
