OnePlus has officially confirmed the Indian debut of its next flagship, the OnePlus 13s, scheduled for release on June 5. The smartphone will run on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the same processor found in top-tier devices like the Galaxy S25 lineup, iQOO 13, and OnePlus 13.
The OnePlus 13s will be available exclusively in India, with three color options—Black Velvet, Green Silk, and Pink Satin—previously hinted at by the company. While the pricing has not been disclosed officially, market estimates place the starting price at around Rs 45,000.
Leaked details suggest the OnePlus 13s may include a 6.32-inch AMOLED display utilizing LTPO 8T technology. The screen is expected to support a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1600 nits. The device could be powered by LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage for enhanced speed and performance.
A shift from the OnePlus 13’s ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is expected, with the 13s likely opting for an optical sensor. An IP65 rating is also anticipated, offering resistance to dust and minor water exposure.
OxygenOS 15, based on Android 15, will likely power the device out of the box. The model may also include a custom-built G1 Wi-Fi chip aimed at delivering more stable wireless performance in low-signal environments such as subways and elevators. In addition, support for India’s 5.5G mobile networks will be included, offering triple-tower connectivity for faster, more reliable signal.
Camera hardware is expected to feature a dual-lens rear setup, including a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary sensor with OIS and a secondary 50MP 2x telephoto lens. A 16MP selfie camera will likely be on the front for video calls and photos.
The third-generation smartphone from Nothing is also on the horizon. The London-based startup has announced that its flagship Nothing Phone 3 will launch in India in July 2025. Although the exact launch date is under wraps, the unveiling is set to take place within a month.
Pricing speculation suggests a notable increase over its predecessor. Industry estimates point to a retail price of approximately £800, which converts to around ₹90,500. This positions the device in direct competition with high-end models such as the iPhone 16 Plus and Galaxy S25 Plus.
Early information reveals that the Phone 3 will ship with premium design materials, updated software, and improved performance. Although the chipset remains unconfirmed, speculation leans toward either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 or Snapdragon 8s Gen 4—both considered flagship-grade processors.
A revamped camera system is also anticipated. Reports hint at a triple-camera configuration on the rear, which could include a large primary sensor and a periscope-style zoom lens. If true, this would mark a first for the brand and place the Phone 3 in a stronger position in the competitive smartphone photography segment.
The handset is expected to come equipped with a 5,000mAh battery, aimed at delivering all-day usage on a single charge.
