One UI 8.5 Beta Launch in India Expected Soon – Galaxy Users Excited

Samsung One UI 8.5 Beta begins worldwide while in India the waiting still goes on
Samsung One UI 8.5 beta-program is finally underway, with this being the first step in Samsung's annual ritual/software development ahead of the launch of the Galaxy S26 series in 2026. Germany, India, Korea, Poland, the UK, and the U. S. were mentioned by Samsung announcing that they would be the first to see the beta on the 8th of December, although Indian users report that there could be a delay in the spread, considering the update hasn't gone live as yet.
The current list of participants in the S25 series for the beta includes Samsung's premium flagship devices, although an official statement hints at an expanded circle of devices that could include older models of those devices.
Samsung engages in an ever-increasing rollout for its beta program. With the launching of the One UI 7 beta late on December 5, 2024, markets such as the US, the UK, Germany, and Korea were given first priority, while India and Poland had received the update pretty late on December 16. So too, markets in which the rollout of One UI 8 beta started on May 28 saw India a few weeks sequentially on June 12.
Indian users will likely be introduced to the One UI 8.5 in a gradual process starting next week. Even though it's a long wait for the enthusiasts, it's all for the best as the phase by phase release is believed to lead to a smoother testing process for Samsung's new OS.
Stay tuned for updates, and keep watching our One UI 8.5 archive for the latest on the beta's India launch.
