Nothing is gearing up to launch its highly anticipated flagship, the Nothing Phone 3, on July 1 globally, including in India. The company recently teased a standout feature — a 50-megapixel periscope lens — designed especially for creators who seek advanced photography capabilities.
In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), Nothing announced, “Phone (3) with 50 MP periscope lens. Built for creators,” highlighting its focus on delivering premium camera performance. A follow-up tweet showcased a carousel of detailed images, likely captured on the Phone 3, demonstrating impressive zoom and telemacro features. Fans are curious whether the device will include additional cameras or replace the ultrawide lens with this telephoto setup.
Apart from the camera, Nothing confirmed the Phone 3 will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, offering up to 49% faster GPU performance compared to previous models. Nothing’s India head, Akis Evangelidis, emphasized the chipset’s all-big core design for better efficiency.
Another design update teased is the new Glyph matrix layout, replacing the original Glyph LED lights, positioned towards the top end of the phone, though details remain scarce.
The Nothing Phone 3 will debut at a special London event on July 1, with availability on Flipkart in India shortly after. Alongside the phone, Nothing plans to launch its first over-the-ear headphones, the Nothing Headphone 1. An India-specific briefing will provide pricing and further details for the local market.
Stay tuned as the tech world awaits this exciting release.
