New OnePlus Nord Phones Coming July 8? Price Starts at Rs 25K

Smartphone manufacturer OnePlus is expected to unveil two new mid-range devices in India next month. The models, reportedly named OnePlus Nord 5 and OnePlus Nord CE 5, are tipped to arrive on July 8, though an official confirmation is yet to be issued by the company.

Industry sources suggest the launch date is tentative, with speculation pointing to rebranded variants of the Ace 5 Ultra and Ace 5 Racing Edition previously introduced in China. The launch timeline aligns with earlier predictions of a June–July release.

Market expectations place the OnePlus Nord 5 around Rs 30,000, while the Nord CE 5 may start at Rs 25,000. This pricing strategy maintains OnePlus’ approach of offering competitive specifications in the mid-range smartphone segment.

The original information, sourced from a tweet by tipster Yogesh Brar, has since been removed, adding uncertainty regarding the accuracy of the launch date. Nevertheless, online chatter continues around the likely hardware configurations.

The OnePlus Nord 5 is rumored to feature a flat OLED panel with 1.5K resolution. It is expected to run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400e processor. Camera features may include a dual-lens setup at the rear comprising a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. A 16MP sensor is speculated for the front-facing camera.

The handset could be backed by a 6,650mAh battery and support 80W fast charging, in line with recent trends in the brand’s power management technology.

The Nord CE 5 may include a 6.7-inch flat OLED display with Full HD resolution. It is likely to be powered by the 4nm Dimensity 8350 SoC and paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

For optics, the device is expected to feature a 50MP main sensor—either Sony’s LYT-600 or IMX882—alongside an 8MP ultra-wide camera. A 16MP selfie camera is anticipated at the front.

Despite the leaks, OnePlus has not made any formal announcement regarding the Nord 5 series launch.
