Motorola has introduced its latest mid-range smartphone, the Edge 60 5G, in the Indian market. This launch serves as a successor to the Edge 50 and is part of the expanding Edge 60 Series lineup that includes the Edge 60 Pro, Edge 60 Stylus, and Edge 60 Fusion models.
Priced at Rs 25,999, the Edge 60 comes in a single configuration offering 12GB of RAM paired with 256GB of internal storage. The device will be available for purchase starting June 17 at 12 noon via Flipkart, Motorola’s official online store, and Reliance Digital. As part of the launch promotion, buyers will receive a Rs 1,000 discount on the first sale day. The smartphone is offered in two colors: Gibraltar Sea and Pantone Shamrock.
The handset sports a 6.67-inch pOLED display featuring a quad-curved design. The screen delivers a sharp 1.5K resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits. Motorola has integrated Smart Water Touch 3.0 technology into the display, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor is included for biometric security.
Performance-wise, the Edge 60 is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset. This is complemented by 12GB RAM and 256GB of onboard storage, with the option to expand virtual memory by an additional 12GB. The phone runs Android 15 out of the box, and Motorola has committed to providing three years of major OS updates.
Photography capabilities include a rear triple-camera setup composed of a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 10MP telephoto lens. On the front, the device houses a 50MP selfie camera aimed at high-quality video calls and selfies.
