Meet the Moto Razr 60 Ultra: tougher, faster, and packing more juice. Its sibling, the Razr 60, isn’t far behind
Motorola's 2025 flip-foldables are the first foldables to be dust resistant - a feature that very few have. The Ultra model has been upgraded, but the vanilla model is still focused on affordability.
Meet the Moto Razr 60 Ultra: tougher, faster, and packing more juice. Its sibling, the Razr 60, isn’t far behind

Motorola Razr Ultra
The Motorola Radar 60 Ultra comes with an improved display, battery, camera improvements, and flagship performance. This time there are no "s" chipets. In the US the phone is called "Motorola Razr Ultra", ending the "razr+2025" name but not adding a number.
The Ultra has been upgraded to IP48. This "4" rating promises ingress protection against larger particles. The Ultra's body is thicker (7.2mm/15.7mm vs. 7.1mm/15.3mm), and heavier (199g vs. 189g).
Beyond the increase in durability, the battery capacity has increased by 700mAh to 4,700mAh. Motorola has also made charging faster - up to 68W for wired charging and 30W for wireless charging (up from 45W/15W).
The display panel is the same size as before, a 4 inch P-OLED now protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic. This is a high-quality LTPO (up to 165Hz) display with 10-bit color and 100% DCI P3 coverage. The 3,000 nits maximum brightness is ideal for outdoor visibility (up from 2,400).
Motorola did not cut corners with the Moto Razr 60 Ultra. The Snapdragon 8 Elite chip comes with 16GB LPDDR5X memory and up to 512GB storage UFS 4.0. Some regions will receive a 1TB version exclusively from Motorola.com. The phone is pre-installed with Android 15.
Motorola Razr60
The Motorola Razr60, also known as "Motorola Razr 2025", has less impressive upgrades. However, it still maintains its position as an affordable flip-foldable. The IP48 rating is a feature that is shared by its Ultra sibling. It is protected from dust and can survive submersion under 1.5m water.
The cover display is smaller on the vanilla model, but its 3.6" diagonal makes it larger than other models such as Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip6. The main display is a 6.9-inch P-OLED panel, with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also has 720p+ resolution.
Pricing and availability
Pre-orders for both Motorola Razr models will begin on May 7, with unlocked models available on May 15. On the 15th, select carriers will have units. The Motorola Razr Ultra/razr+2025 starts at $1300 while the Motorola Razr60/razr2025 starts at $700.
