iQOO is expanding its Z10 series in India with the forthcoming launch of the Z10 Lite 5G, scheduled for June 18. Official teasers reveal the phone will pack a massive 6,000mAh battery — the largest in the sub-Rs 10,000 price segment — along with a dual-camera system and a Snapdragon processor.
Following the iQOO Z10 and Z10x models introduced earlier this year, the Z10 Lite 5G is expected to continue the trend of offering solid features at an affordable price. While the standard Z10 runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset and the Z10x features a MediaTek Dimensity 7300, the Lite variant is rumored to come equipped with a Snapdragon chip, possibly the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, which powers other budget phones like the Redmi 14C 5G.
The teaser posted by iQOO India on social media showcases a blue color variant of the device, with hints that additional colors may be unveiled at launch. The presence of official tags for Snapdragon India and Amazon India suggests the phone will be available for purchase through Amazon, with the Snapdragon platform powering the handset.
In terms of display, the Z10 Lite 5G is anticipated to sport a 6.5 to 6.7-inch IPS LCD screen featuring HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. This would mark an improvement over its predecessor, the Z9 Lite, which came with a 6.56-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel capped at 90Hz.
Battery life stands out as the device’s key highlight, boasting a 6,000mAh cell, a substantial upgrade from the 5,000mAh battery of the Z9 Lite. Charging speed is expected to remain steady at 15W, with the charger included in the box. Software-wise, the phone will likely ship with Funtouch OS 15 layered on top of Android 15.
Camera specifications are expected to mirror those of the previous model, featuring a 50-megapixel dual rear setup paired with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.
Pricing is anticipated to start at Rs 9,999, placing the Z10 Lite firmly within the sub-Rs 10,000 category. Buyers can expect 4GB and 6GB RAM configurations and a minimum of 128GB internal storage, similar to the Z9 Lite.
