iOS 26, iPadOS 26: Full List of iPhones and iPads Getting Update

Apple unveiled iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 during its annual Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2025, introducing an updated operating system lineup featuring a refreshed interface called "Liquid Glass". Alongside the design overhaul, Apple confirmed the list of devices eligible to receive the update.

iPhones equipped with an A13 Bionic chip or newer will receive iOS 26. Devices running on chips older than A13 — such as iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max — will not be eligible for the latest software version.

List of iPhones receiving iOS 26:

* iPhone 12 series (12, 12 mini, 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max)

* iPhone 16 series (16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max, 16e)

Note: Apple Intelligence features may not be available on all supported iPhones.

iPad Compatibility for iPadOS 26

iPads with A12 or newer chips — including A13, A14, A15, A16, and M-series processors — will support iPadOS 26. Here’s the breakdown by model:

iPad:

* 11th, 10th, 9th, and 8th generations

iPad Air:

* iPad Air (13-inch M3, 11-inch M3)

* iPad Air (13-inch M2, 11-inch M2)

* iPad Air (5th Gen M1, 4th Gen A14, 3rd Gen A12)

iPad mini:

* iPad mini 7th Gen (A17), 6th Gen (A15), 5th Gen (A12)

iPad Pro:

* iPad Pro 11-inch (M4, M2, M1, A12Z, A12X)
