The price of Motorola's Edge 50 Fusion 5G has been reduced in India following the release of its successor, the Edge 60 Fusion 5G. This move offers buyers a more attractive deal on the older yet capable smartphone, which originally debuted in mid-2024.
The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model of the Edge 50 Fusion 5G is now listed at Rs 18,990 on Amazon India, marking a considerable markdown from its initial launch price of Rs 22,999. Additionally, eligible credit card users can avail themselves of a further Rs 1,250 discount, bringing the effective cost down even more.
Motorola is also offering support plans including one-year screen damage protection for Rs 849 and a comprehensive protection package priced at Rs 1,199.
The Edge 50 Fusion 5G sports a curved pOLED display shielded by Gorilla Glass 5 and supports a 144Hz refresh rate. At the core of the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, offering reliable performance for daily tasks and moderate gaming.
Camera specifications include Sony’s LYT-700C sensor on the rear, widely recognized for its quality imaging in this price range. The smartphone draws power from a 5000mAh battery with 68W wired fast charging support.
The phone continues to be sold in a variety of Pantone-curated colors. For those with a higher budget, Motorola’s recently introduced Edge 60 Fusion 5G may also be worth considering, offering updated specs and features.
