Apple’s premium smartwatch, the Apple Watch Ultra 2, has received a significant price cut in India, a rare move for the brand’s flagship wearables. Croma is now offering the 49mm model with a Black Titanium case at a discounted price of Rs 84,490, down from its original tag of Rs 89,900. Additionally, bank offers from Kotak, Axis, and ICICI can further reduce the price by Rs 3,000, bringing the effective cost to Rs 81,490. This results in a total markdown of Rs 8,410.
Known for its rugged titanium design and a large 1.92-inch display capable of hitting 3,000 nits brightness, the Ultra 2 runs on Apple’s S9 SiP chip. Key features include support for Double Tap gestures, a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip for precise location tracking, and enhanced fitness capabilities through watchOS 10. The device can also connect with cycling power meters and other accessories via Bluetooth.
Battery life is estimated at 36 hours under typical usage, extendable up to 72 hours in low-power mode. The Modular Ultra watch face maximizes information across the display, while Night Mode auto-activates in dark environments.
Consumers with tighter budgets can consider the Apple Watch Series 10, which is currently available on Vijay Sales for Rs 44,600, down from Rs 46,900. A flat discount of Rs 2,300 is available, and users of Kotak, Axis, or ICICI credit cards can avail an additional Rs 2,500 off. This reduces the effective price to Rs 42,100, a total discount of Rs 4,800.
