Apple is gearing up to launch its iPhone 17 lineup in mid-September 2025, introducing four models: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The company is expected to announce the new series around September 9, with pre-orders starting September 12 and availability from September 19.
Expected Pricing:
The iPhone 17 is predicted to start at ₹89,900 in India, priced around $899 in the US and AED 3,799 in Dubai. Prices may vary globally due to taxes and market factors.
Camera Upgrades:
All four models will reportedly feature a 24MP front camera, doubling the iPhone 16’s 12MP selfie shooter. The iPhone 17 Pro may include a revamped triple rear camera system with a 48MP telephoto lens offering 3.5x optical zoom.
Chipset Details:
The iPhone 17 series will likely run on the A19 chipset, built on an enhanced 3nm process. The Pro and Pro Max versions are expected to feature the high-performance A19 Pro chip, while the base and Air models may use the standard A19 or the previous A18 chip.
Design Changes:
Apple is rumored to shift back to aluminum frames for the entire iPhone 17 series. The Pro and Pro Max models, which have used stainless steel and titanium in recent years, may return to aluminum, a move that aligns the premium line more closely with budget models like the iPhone SE.
