Rockstar released a promotional update for GTA V Enhanced on April 15th. This is a free upgrade available to PC Game Pass subscribers. The update featured features like ray tracing and global illumination as well as AMD FSR and NVIDIA's DLSS. The social media comment sections were flooded with anger, a testament to the community's impatience for a GTA 6 update.

One fan replied, Another GTA 5 trailer released the same year as GTA Online update release.

One person said, "Nobody is interested anymore." Drop GTA 6, you've been milking GTA 5 since over a decade ."

Some of the sarcastic remarks included: "Oh, look! Another tweet about an old game from 12 years ago!"

This response makes it clear that the fans are not satisfied with GTA V's incremental releases, which was originally released in 2013. Rockstar's silence since the release of GTA 6’s first trailer, in December 2023, has only added to the frustration.

GTA V Enhanced has PC features but isn't being purchased by fans

GTA V Enhanced is a substantial upgrade for PC players, despite the negative reaction from some fans. S editions have now been brought to PC, such as ray traced shadows and reflections, Career Progress tracking in GTA Online, and the addition of Hao's Special Works and GTA+.
