PUBG Mobile Korea’s 3.9 update is now available for download on both Google Play Store and App Store. The update introduces a two-month-long collaboration with Transformers, running from July 8 to September 2. This themed event features character designs and mechanics inspired by Optimus Prime and Megatron.
Players can collect the Spacebridge Beacon in matches to summon either Transformer. Two players each round can command the bots, switching between robot and vehicle forms. Optimus Prime’s red truck and Megatron’s purple tank are faithfully recreated, complete with signature weapons—Prime’s axe and Megatron’s cannon.
The new version adds a variety of content beyond the crossover. The ASM Abakan rifle, firing 5.56mm rounds, is introduced in Classic Mode with single, burst, and auto firing modes. Attachment updates across firearms improve reloading times, firing stability, and sniper damage through the new barrel extender.
Additional game modes enhance player experience. The WOW-themed Summer Showdown map brings lighter gameplay. Metro Royale introduces Zombie Uprising 2.0, while Ranked Arena mode allows players to rise through competitive tiers. A new social Hub also debuts with the update.
