ColorOS 16 Rollout: Oppo Phones Get Android 16 Features Soon
ColorOS 16 brings Android 16-based enhancements to Oppo phones. Expect smarter UI, faster performance, and better battery efficiency.

Oppo has unveiled its latest flagship smartphones, the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, yesterday. Along with the device launch, the company also announced details regarding the global rollout of its ColorOS 16 update.
As for the new ColorOS 16 software, it is planned to start distributing to Oppo devices in China from October 30 but users residing outside China will have to wait a little longer to get the update.
According to the official schedule from Oppo, the global release in November will initially include the premium devices such as Find N5, Find N3, Find N3 Flip, Find X8 series, Reno 14 lineup, Reno 13 series, and Pad 3 Pro.
Older generation devices will have to wait until late 2026 for the Android 16-based ColorOS 16 update spanning December 2025 through the first quarter of 2026. The update will be a renewed interface, better system performance, lower power consumption and new AI-powered features for the smartphones and tablets that are qualified.
