On December 5, 2025, Cloudflare, which is among the top providers of web security and infrastructure worldwide, acknowledged that its network's different parts had been subject to service disruptions. These disruptions started around 09:00 UTC and were highly felt in the websites, apps, and platforms relying on Cloudflare’s CDN, DNS, and security layers.
As per the latest update on the company’s official System Status page, the maintenance was “in progress,” and more updates would be given as the engineers were working on the planned activity.
According to Cloudflare, “Fix Implemented, Monitoring Ongoing.”
At 09:12 UTC, Cloudflare revealed that a fix had been put in place and the personnel were closely watching the network to ascertain stability.
Nevertheless, the company also reported an increase in mistakes, especially for the customers took up Cloudflare Workers, its serverless execution environment. The engineers are now investigating the problem, and preparing a solution that will last.
Cloudflare kept users posted saying the updates would not stop as the troubleshooting goes on. The businesses were advised to follow the status page to be up-to-date with real-time updates.

In addition to general connectivity problems, Cloudflare pointed out that its Dashboard and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) were also offline. While the system is not fully stable yet, users may experience the following: request failures, slow loading, or error messages.

Zerodha has stated that its trading platform Kite was momentarily out of service as a result of Cloudflare's network-wide issues.
The firm suggested that users employ the Kite Whatsapp backup to carry out or close trades while the engineers restored the connectivity.
