iQOO, a sub-brand of Vivo, will announce its new smartphone iQOO 15 on the date of 20th October 2025 during the launch event held in Shenzhen. Besides that, the company will also introduce the iQOO Pad 5e at the same event. The early teasers gave away the phone’s design and colour options, making people guess about its coming to India soon.
The next iQOO 15 is going to be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. This processor puts the device among the first smartphones in the world to use the new flagship processor. Rumours further suggest that there will be a Q3 gaming chip in the mix, the purpose of which is to facilitate mobile gaming and make it more fun.
Before the official arrival of the phone, display and battery info has already been out. The iQOO 15 is likely to come with a 6.85-inch QHD AMOLED display along with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness going up to 2,600 nits. The device could be mated with a gigantic 7,000mAh battery featuring fast charging support. For gaming simulations, the device is likely to come with an 8K vapour chamber cooling system to sustain performance.
The phone is said to be focusing on security and sturdiness. It might support a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scan, plus IP68 and IP69 certification that guarantees the device's resistance to water and dust ingress, respectively.
The iQOO 15 is expected to be packed with a dual rear camera setup consisting of 50-megapixel primary sensor that has a 1/1.5-inch sensor size and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens to offer effective optical zooming capabilities. The device is likely to be launched in India mid-November with reported price tag of Rs 59,999.
