The open beta for Call of Duty Black Ops 7, initially scheduled to end tonight at 10:30 pm IST, has been extended by 24 hours. Activision, the American publisher behind the popular franchise, confirmed the extension, with the beta now running until 9:30 pm IST on Thursday, October 9.

The beta first went live for all players on October 5. Pre-order customers, however, were given early access beginning October 2. The extension comes in response to widespread player engagement and feedback during the ongoing beta phase.

Activision, through Treyarch, expressed appreciation for the community response. In a statement, they said players’ enthusiasm for both multiplayer and Zombies Survival modes has been encouraging, prompting the additional beta time.

The open beta features a range of new maps and game modes. Multiplayer maps include Cortex, Exposure, Forge, Training Course, Imprint, and Blackheart. Available multiplayer modes are Team Deathmatch, Hardcore Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardcore Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, Moshpit, Open Moshpit, Open Hardcore Moshpit, and Open Search and Destroy.

The Zombies Survival mode introduces several upgrades and features, such as Wisp Tea Perk-a-Cola, Fire Works Ammo Mod, Toxic Growth Field Upgrade, and Wall Jumps.

Players can progress from levels 1 to 30 during the beta, unlocking a variety of weapons including M15 Mod 0, Ryden 45K, Mk. 78, VS Recon, M10 Breacher, Jager 45, Flatline Mk. II melee, MXR-17, RC-XD, M8A1, UAV, Dravec 45, HKDs, A.R.C. M1 launcher, Active Camo, Peacekeeper MK1, and Gravemaker.

Scorestreaks available include UAV, VTOL Warship, Watchdog Helo, and Rhino. Perks include Gunfighter, Engineer, Ninja, Vendetta, Looper, and Hunter’s Instinct. Tactical equipment offered are LT53 Kazimir, Psych Grenade, Needle Drone, and Squad Link. Zombies-specific upgrades feature Shadow Rift, Brain Rot, Aether Shroud, and Mangler Cannon.

Cosmetic rewards during the beta include Beta Player emblem, Beta Maverick Operator Skin, Beta Survivor loading screen, Beta Conqueror calling card, and Beta Legend weapon blueprint. A total of 192 augments are planned at launch, including 66 new ones, with progression carrying over from Black Ops 6.

Call of Duty Black Ops 7 is set to officially release on November 14. The extended beta gives players additional time to explore maps, modes, and unlockable content ahead of the full launch.
