As anticipation builds around the upcoming iPhone 17 lineup, Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max have received price drops on Amazon India. Consumers looking to switch to premium models can now grab these devices at significantly reduced rates.
The 128GB variant of the iPhone 16 Pro in Black Titanium is now retailing at Rs 1,11,900 — a 7 per cent markdown from its original price. On top of the base discount, eligible customers using Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit cards can avail an additional Rs 3,357 off. Prime members receive 5 per cent cashback, while non-Prime users can claim 3 per cent cashback. Amazon is also offering an exchange value of up to Rs 73,200, which could slash the price drastically for those trading in an older device.
The 256GB Desert Titanium edition of the iPhone 16 Pro Max is being sold at Rs 1,35,900, reflecting a 6 per cent reduction. This variant is also eligible for the ICICI Bank credit card deal, offering up to Rs 4,000 in savings. Buyers can take advantage of the same exchange offer, receiving as much as Rs 73,200 based on their existing device's condition and model.
Both Pro models are powered by Apple’s A18 Pro chip and support Apple Intelligence. The iPhone 16 Pro features a 6.3-inch screen while the Pro Max stretches to 6.9 inches. Camera setups remain identical: a triple-lens rear system including a 48MP main sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide, and a telephoto lens. On the front, both have a 12MP TrueDepth camera for high-quality selfies and Face ID.
Storage options for the iPhone 16 Pro range from 128GB to 1TB, while the Pro Max skips the 128GB variant and starts at 256GB.
Apple’s pricing revision appears to be part of a pre-launch sales strategy to clear existing inventory as it gears up to unveil the iPhone 17 series.
