Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy S26 Ultra in early 2026, with credible leaks indicating internal and camera-focused improvements while maintaining the core design language of its predecessor.
The S26 Ultra is likely to retain a 6.9-inch display, similar to the S25 Ultra. Samsung is reportedly narrowing the bezels, increasing the usable screen area. The form factor will remain largely consistent, but with refinements to the rear panel. Instead of distinct raised camera rings, an integrated camera module may be introduced for a streamlined look.
To support enhanced performance, Samsung is expected to implement a larger vapor chamber cooling mechanism—about 1.2 times the size of the S25 Ultra’s unit. This thermal redesign is aimed at improving heat dissipation during extended usage. Previous speculation about the removal of the S Pen and digitizer appears to be inaccurate, as both features are now expected to continue.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is projected to launch in three storage variants—256GB, 512GB, and 1TB—all paired with 16GB RAM. Samsung appears to be standardizing high memory capacity across the board to support demanding tasks and applications.
Significant updates are expected in the camera department. The main sensor will be a 200MP ISOCELL HP2, coupled with a revised lens setup for improved clarity and night photography. Additional modules are likely to include:

Samsung is expected to skip its Exynos chips for this model, standardizing the Snapdragon chip globally. The processor will likely feature an overclocked configuration, optimized specifically for Samsung devices.
In India, the Galaxy S26 Ultra could debut with a price tag of Rs 1,59,990. Positioned in the premium segment, the device is tailored for power users and professionals seeking advanced camera features, consistent performance, and top-tier display quality.
