OnePlus rolls out its Plus Mind AI tool to OnePlus 13 and 13R. Learn how to activate it, what it does, and what other features are now live.

OnePlus has begun rolling out its proprietary AI-powered "Plus Mind" feature to the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R smartphones, extending the functionality that first appeared on the OnePlus 13s. The update is being distributed via an OTA (over-the-air) patch starting today, with a complete rollout expected in the following weeks.
Unlike the OnePlus 13s, which features a dedicated Plus Key for accessing Plus Mind, the OnePlus 13 and 13R models do not include physical shortcuts. To address this, OnePlus has introduced a three-finger swipe-up gesture that activates the AI utility, reversing the common screenshot motion on Android.
The Plus Mind tool enables contextual recognition of on-screen data. Once triggered, the software interprets content in real-time and offers actionable suggestions, such as creating calendar reminders from text or saving relevant details to the integrated Mind Space. All saved interactions become searchable through the AI search bar using natural language queries.
This update accompanies a broader AI feature rollout. OnePlus confirms that tools previously seen in the OnePlus 13s—AI Translation, Screen Translation, Reframe, Perfect Shot, AI Search, and VoiceScribe—are also being deployed to the OnePlus 13 lineup.
However, OnePlus has not provided an official statement on whether the revamped dialer from the 13s will reach the OnePlus 13 and 13R.
In related developments, Plus Mind is also included in the OnePlus Nord 5, which shares the same physical Plus Key as the 13s.
