Bhavish Aggarwal Praises Ather Energy on Stock Market Debut

Following Ather Energy’s debut in the Indian stock market yesterday, Ola Electric's CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal shared a congratulatory post on X (formerly Twitter). Aggarwal lauded Ather’s achievement by emphasising the importance of collaboration in India’s growing electric vehicle (EV) sector.

Bhavish Aggarwal said, “Congrats to @tarunsmehtaand the whole@atherenergy team on this milestone for the Indian EV industry! Let’s together make India the global EV hub,” to which Ather Energy’s CEO Tarun Mehta replied, “Thanks, @bhash!The Indian EV story is just getting started, and the two-wheeler segment is already leading the charge.Excited about what we can build together in this space!”

Ola Electric also posted about the stock market debut of Ather Energy. “The EV revolution was never meant to be solo. Welcome to the bourses @atherenergy! Let’s go full throttle,” reads the post.

Started in 2013, Nikhil Kamath-backed Ather Energy became popular after launching Ather 450X and Ather 450 Plus models. Notably, these models are known for their smart connectivity features and improved battery technology.
