As Flipkart’s Freedom Sale runs through August 8, buyers looking to switch to premium Android phones have a significant opportunity to pick up Google's Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro at sharply reduced prices. The offer comes just weeks before Google’s upcoming Pixel 10 series is expected to be announced.

The Pixel 9 is built around a 6.3-inch OLED screen delivering Full HD+ resolution, refreshes at 120Hz, and supports peak brightness up to 2700 nits. The display is protected with Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The device runs on Google’s proprietary Tensor G4 processor and is backed by a 4700mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging. It features a dual-camera system on the rear—50MP main and 48MP ultra-wide sensors—while the front camera is a 10.5MP unit. Google assures seven years of OS and security updates.
The Pixel 9 Pro, in contrast, enhances the visual and camera experience further. It carries a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED panel with up to 3000 nits brightness. Like the Pixel 9, it runs on the Tensor G4 chip but comes equipped with a triple-lens rear setup: 50MP wide, 48MP ultra-wide, and a 48MP telephoto lens capable of 5x optical zoom. A 42MP front-facing camera rounds out the package, offering detailed selfies and video quality.
Buyers planning to stay within a Rs 65,000 budget bracket may find the Pixel 9 suitable with its balanced features and software longevity. However, for users prioritizing high-end mobile photography—including optical zoom and sharper selfies—the Pixel 9 Pro offers considerable upgrades and justifies its premium.
