Best and Worst Workplaces in India Revealed by Blind Survey 2025
Blind's 2025 report ranks India's best and worst companies to work for based on employee reviews. Target tops the list, Amazon ranks the lowest.

A Blind survey of more than 7,000 verified employee reviews has produced a ranked list of India’s most and least favored employers, highlighting a gap between pay and workplace satisfaction and underscoring the impact of culture and management on overall ratings.
Target claimed the top position among best-rated companies in India, with Nvidia placing second. Rounding out the top ten were Apple, Google, Meta and other global technology names. At the other extreme, Amazon emerged as the lowest-rated employer in the Blind rankings, joined by Paytm, InMobi, Coinbase, IBM and Sprinklr among the least favored workplaces.
Reviews collected during the past year by India-based professionals using the Blind app were scored on a five-point scale across six dimensions, including work-life balance, career growth, compensation and trust in leadership. The data reveal a weak link between salary levels and overall satisfaction. American Express, with a median salary of $32,250 in India, secured the second-highest overall score despite compensation in the bottom 30 percent of the sample. By contrast, Coinbase offers one of the highest median salaries—$82,000—yet landed among the worst-rated workplaces.
“Company culture and management quality drive employee satisfaction more than pay,” said Alex Han, communications manager at Blind. “Our analysis shows that leadership trust and cultural factors have the strongest correlation with overall ratings, while compensation shows the weakest.”
In category-specific results, Target, Nvidia, American Express, Akamai Technologies, ServiceNow, Zoho, Arista Networks, Morgan Stanley, VMware and JPMorgan Chase & Co. topped the charts for company culture. Trust in management rankings placed Target, American Express, ServiceNow, Arista Networks, AMD, Nvidia, Pure Storage, Apple, Harness and EPAM Systems at the forefront.
Job-search trends on Blind among Indian professionals over the past year featured Meta, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Apple, Nvidia, ByteDance, Netflix, OpenAI and Walmart. Popular search terms—including “India offer,” “layoff,” “referral,” “promotion” and “H-1B”—reflect strong interest in career mobility and global opportunities.
