Bengaluru doesn't need any descriptor like TecHalli

I don't believe in the name change. If Bengaluru is called the 'Silicon Valley of India', so be it; if Bengaluru is called 'Bengaluru', so be it. Calling the city as 'TecHalli' is trying to forcibly add a dimension to the city which is much more than tech. Bengaluru is not all about technology, there is much more to the city.

And the city in no imagination is a Halli (which means village). I will prefer to leave Bengaluru as the way it has been- with its old name and old moniker. Bengaluru itself is a moniker and doesn't require any descriptor. The moment you give a descriptor, it means the city name doesn't have a descriptor.

For me, the city is its own descriptor. Bengaluru is also the silicon city of India but it is not only the silicon city of India. The biggest definition of Bengaluru is Bengaluru (itself).
