Ashneer Grover, the co-founder of BharatPe, is gearing up to make a splash in the fintech industry once again with the impending launch of his latest venture, the ZeroPe app. ZeroPe, currently in its testing phase, is aimed at providing convenient medical loans.

Developed by Third Unicorn, a firm established by Grover subsequent to his departure from BharatPe, the ZeroPe app is set to offer instant pre-approved medical loans of up to ₹5 lakh. These loans will be facilitated in partnership with Delhi-based Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) Mukut Finvest and will be exclusively available at affiliated hospitals and medical centers.

Grover's entrepreneurial journey post-BharatPe also includes ventures like CrickPe, a fantasy gaming platform launched in 2023 to rival applications such as Dream11, Mobile Premier League (MPL), and Games24x7's My11Circle.

Third Unicorn, co-founded by Grover and his wife Madhuri Jain Grover in collaboration with Chandigarh-based entrepreneur Aseem Ghavri, secured USD 3.5 million in a seed funding round led by ZNL Growth Fund. The round saw participation from partners Vevek Ventures Investments and Rishaayu LLP.

The launch of ZeroPe comes at an opportune time as India's digital healthcare market is experiencing significant growth. With projections indicating a revenue surge of over USD 37 billion by 2030, the sector presents ample opportunities for innovative solutions like ZeroPe, which aims to streamline access to medical services through efficient healthcare loan schemes.
