Machine Learning seminar in Hyderabad

On March 30 and 31, the JNTU-Hyderabad campus will play host to "AI Days 2024," billed as India's biggest AI and ML meetup to date. The conference will unveil a Telugu AI Voice Assistant that will enable farmers, frontline healthcare workers, sanitation personnel, and others to utilize Artificial Intelligence by speaking their native language.

More than two thousand people, including researchers, entrepreneurs, and students, are expected to attend the event, which is being organized by Swecha in conjunction with a number of other organizations. The conference will feature presentations from more than 70 speakers hailing from all over the world. Also featured will be an innovative project that will showcase the launch of a distributed supercomputer with high performance. According to the organizers, this initiative is set to connect tens of thousands of computers across Telangana. The goal is to use spare computing capacity to democratize access to AI/ML applications and significantly reduce operational costs.

The founder-CTO of Ozonetel Chaitanya and the founder of Swecha Y. Kiran Chandra emphasized the revolutionary potential of AI when discussing its role in societal transformation. He cited projects like Telugu's "AI for Chandamama Kathalu" as examples of efforts to democratize AI across Indian languages.
