Apple’s Back to School Offer: Free AirPods with Mac & iPad

Apple has rolled out its annual Back to School promotion for students and educators in India, effective from June 17 through September 30. The offer is available through Apple retail stores, the official Apple India website, and the Apple Store app.

Under this initiative, eligible students can purchase select Mac or iPad models at discounted rates as part of Apple’s education pricing program. Customers can also choose between free AirPods or Apple Pencil or select from other qualifying accessories, depending on the device purchased.

Each customer can avail the promotional offer on one Mac and one iPad. The deal excludes specific devices, including iPad Mini, 10th-generation iPad, Mac Mini, Mac Pro, Mac Studio, and all refurbished models.

Students buying a MacBook Air or MacBook Pro can opt for AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation or accessories like the Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad, or Magic Keyboard. Purchases of iPad Air or iPad Pro qualify for either an Apple Pencil Pro or AirPods 4.

Apple highlighted that its devices are designed with built-in privacy and security, aimed at supporting both academic and creative pursuits. With features powered by Apple Intelligence, users can benefit from tools like Writing Tools, Image Playground, and Genmoji, enhancing productivity and creativity.

Key Mac features include the Dock for fast app access, Spotlight for quick searches, and gesture-based navigation using the trackpad. MacBook Air delivers up to 18 hours of battery life, while the MacBook Pro extends up to 24 hours, making both models suitable for long study sessions.

The macOS platform offers tools like Store Manager, Quick Look, and Screenshots, alongside Hot Corners and multi-desktop workspaces to streamline user workflows. Devices also support cross-platform integration, with features like Universal Clipboard, AirDrop, and Instant Hotspot ensuring seamless connectivity.

Continuity tools allow users to take photos or scan documents on their iPhone or iPad and instantly view them on Mac. AirPlay to Mac enables content streaming across Apple devices. AirPods now support faster automatic switching and stem-based call controls. With Sidecar, users can extend their workspace using an iPad as a secondary display.
