Apple is reportedly shifting several major product launches from late 2025 to early 2026, aiming to ring in a strong start to the year, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.

iPhone 17e (Entry-Level)

A refresh of the February 2025 iPhone 16e, the iPhone 17e will feature the new A19 chip and is expected to launch between February and April 2026.

MacBook Pro & Air (M5)

New 14‑ and 16‑inch MacBook Pro models, codenamed J714/J716, will be powered by Apple’s next-gen M5 chip. Originally planned for late 2025, now pushed to early 2026.

MacBook Air in 13‑ and 15‑inch variants (J813/J815) will also receive the M5 upgrade in the first half of 2026.

New External Display

Apple will launch a new external monitor (code: J427), this being the first since 2022’s Studio Display. Speculation includes upgrades like ProMotion, HDR, or even OLED, with a likely 27‑inch size.

Smart Home Hub

The long-anticipated smart home hub (codename J490), delayed from 2025 due to Siri AI setbacks, is now expected in early 2026.

Apple's decision to push key releases to early 2026 reflects a strategic move to stabilize revenues post-iPhone season and offset recent demand weakness. Fans can expect routine “chip-and-ship” updates across core product lines—with potential display and design overhauls coming later.
