Apple Rolls Out The New iOS 26.3 With bettered Android Switching, Enhanced Privacy, and Custom Features
Apple is easing iPhone owners into Android smartphones with the new iOS 26.3, which adds a new tool that allows iPhone users to hold their device next to an Android smartphone to begin transferring data.
Apple rolls out iOS 26.3 alongside updates for iPadOS, macOS Tahoe, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS, focusing on stability, bug fixes, and subtle feature improvements.

Apple began testing on iOS 26.3 some several months ago, but the company is
officially releasing it at the moment alongside iPadOS 26.3, macOS Tahoe 26.3,
watchOS 26.3, tvOS 26.3, and visionOS 26.3. Rather than the new massive iOS
26.3 release features, this point of this update is concentrated primarily on bug
fixes and overall stability advancements. However, there are a few noteworthy
additions to iOS this year, including an Apple iPhone to Android transfer tool,
enhanced privacy permissions, and three exclusive US features we wish would
arrive.
The reason why Apple didn’t give us many new features for the past several
months or so could be because they are preparing to launch a substantial iOS 26.4
software update for next month. Reports suggest that iOS 26.4 will bring Google-
powered Siri, new emojis, and additional features we don’t know about. Until then,
iOS 26.3 may feel like a lackluster, but it does bring some nice improvements that
hint towards what’s to come with iOS 26.4, which should arrive in April.
Take the new separation of iOS 26.3 weather wallpapers. Apple is unyoking
those wallpapers between two different places in iOS 26.3.
Apple has introduced a new “Notification Forwarding” feature in beta tests for iOS
26.3 that could let incoming iPhone notifications appear on third-party wearable
devices like Android smartwatches. It looks like Apple may have tabled this
feature until iOS 26.4.
