Apple’s M4 MacBook Air is now available at a lower price in India through an online sale, a rare move from the company as it prepares for the launch of its next-generation M5 MacBook series.
The base variant of the M4 MacBook Air, equipped with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage, is currently priced at Rs 90,900 — down Rs 9,000 from its regular listing. Customers using select bank cards can claim an additional Rs 3,000 instant discount, reducing the total cost by Rs 12,000. The offer is available on authorised platforms, and warranty coverage remains valid as with purchases made directly from Apple.
The M4 MacBook Air is powered by Apple’s latest M4 chip and comes with 16GB memory as standard. The processor is designed for faster performance and improved efficiency, with the additional RAM aimed at supporting upcoming Apple AI capabilities. The laptop runs macOS Sequoia on launch and will receive the macOS 26 update later this year.
It features a 13-inch Liquid Retina display with a 60Hz refresh rate and brightness up to 500 nits. Connectivity options include two Thunderbolt USB-C ports, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3. The device also has a 12MP front camera, a four-speaker audio system with spatial audio, and Dolby Atmos support.
Apple rarely applies direct price cuts to its latest MacBook models in India. The timing of this offer, alongside reports of the M5 MacBook’s impending launch, suggests the company is making room for its upcoming hardware.
