Apple iPhone 17 Pro set to debut in new sky blue color: Latest leaks reveal exciting details

Apple might be unveiling its upcoming iPhone 17 Pro in a fresh new Sky Blue color, according to recent leaks. This shade, which was first seen on the M4 MacBook Air models released in March, is said to bring a unique aesthetic to the iPhone 17 lineup. Leaker Majin Bu has reported that sources close to Apple's supply chain confirm the iPhone 17 Pro prototypes have been produced in various color options, with Sky Blue emerging as a leading contender for mass production.
The Sky Blue finish, reminiscent of the one found on the latest MacBooks, isn't overly saturated. What's more, it has been designed to offer a dynamic color shift—appearing different depending on the lighting. Whether it's sunlight or artificial lighting, the new blue shade will create a gradient effect, giving the iPhone a distinct, vibrant look from different angles.
Apple's recent iPhone Pro models have followed a more traditional color scheme, with the Titanium finish being the standout on the iPhone 16 Pro. The possible introduction of this new Sky Blue variant, alongside the updated materials and features, is a noteworthy departure.
While the leak sheds light on the color, the iPhone 17 Pro will also come with several significant upgrades. The new iPhones will sport an all-aluminum frame, a redesigned camera with an aluminum and glass back, and an upgraded 120Hz ProMotion Always-On Display. The camera system on the Pro models will also see a major boost, featuring a 48MP telephoto lens, potential 8K video recording, and a 24MP selfie camera.
