Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone 17 lineup in September 2025, and industry sources indicate that the iPhone 17 Pro could be the flagship highlight. The device is anticipated to launch alongside three other models — iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
If Apple sticks to its previous timeline, the iPhone 17 series could reach stores between September 8 and September 20. Market chatter suggests the Pro model could carry a price tag of approximately Rs 1,45,000 in India.
The Pro variant is rumoured to be available in five colour finishes: Titanium White, Titanium Black, Titanium Natural, Titanium Blue, and an additional Orange variant. These choices may vary depending on final production decisions.
Leaks point to a change in the device’s rear design, with Apple expected to shift from its square camera island to a wide rectangular layout. The body is likely to be slightly bulkier compared to the iPhone 16 Pro, possibly to accommodate a higher-capacity battery.
Camera specifications include three rear sensors — each a 48-megapixel unit — covering wide, ultra-wide, and telephoto functionalities. On the front, the traditional 12MP selfie camera is reportedly being replaced by a 24MP sensor.
Display features could include a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED panel supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is expected to run on the A19 Pro processor, paired with 12GB of RAM. The base model may offer 128GB of internal storage.
