The iPhone 15 from Apple, which was initially priced at Rs 79,900 when it was first globally introduced in September 2023, is now available at Rs 50,900 on Reliance's JioMart in India, thus having a huge price difference of nearly Rs 29,000. Moreover, customers can avail of extra bank offers to reduce the price of the device even more.
The iPhone 15, although it is two years old, is still going to get at least four more years of iOS updates and feature improvements, which means that it will still be supported by software.
The phone boasts a case of aerospace-grade aluminum and has an IP68 rating, which means it is completely protected against dust and can withstand immersion in water. It features a Super Retina display under the Dynamic Island design, which is powered by the Apple A16 Bionic processor. The 6-core CPU includes 2 high-performance cores that deliver 20% less power consumption and 4 high-efficiency cores, thus handling demanding tasks smoothly while prolonging battery life.
The 15's imaging capabilities are now incorporating a 48MP primary camera that comes with shift-sensor Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an f/1.6 aperture, and a 26mm focal length. Along with this, a 12MP telephoto lens with f/1.6 aperture and up to 52mm focal length is there, which can provide 2X zoom—this is the first time for the regular iPhone series. Besides, users can focus on one of the two subjects after taking the picture.
Moreover, there is a 12MP TrueDepth camera on the front side for taking selfies and for FaceTime calls. The battery performance is said to be that of a full day with a single charge.
