Apple iOS 26.3 Beta Arrives: Transfer Data to Android with Ease

Apple made the first public betas of iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3 available, subsequent to the update aimed at developers that was released yesterday. Public beta program participants can get access to the beta versions now.

The update also presents a new and less complicated way for transferring data to Android devices, which will be particularly useful for those who wish to switch their platform. This feature is made available by Google’s continuous work to facilitate the process of moving to Android.

Following the recent European Union regulations, Apple is providing a new Notification Forwarding function for non-company wearables i.e. third-party ones in the EU. This function forwards the iPhone alerts to the compatible devices as dictated by the EU regulations. It is important to note that when this forwarding feature is turned on, notifications will not be shown on Apple Watches.

Moreover, the new feature brings a collection of new wallpapers inspired by weather and categorized as such under the wallpaper gallery. The new wallpapers have resulted from the splitting of the earlier common Weather & Astronomy section into two separate categories - Weather and Astronomy.

The public beta testers can get the updates through Apple’s beta program website or via the conventional over-the-air installation on devices that are eligible. It is suggested that users should back up the data on their devices before they proceed with the installation of the beta versions as these builds are meant for testing purposes and they might contain bugs or have unstable performance.
