Samsung’s One UI 8, powered by Android 16, is rolling out to Galaxy S, Z, A, and Tab series devices.

Samsung has officially started the phased rollout of One UI 8, the latest software skin based on Android 16, for select Galaxy smartphones and tablets. The update, now on its phases, reaches the Galaxy S, Z, and A series, as well as the Galaxy Tab S and A series. Launch for the Galaxy F and M series phones will be coming in a few months.
One UI 8: What’s New?
The One UI 8 update introduces several upgrades designed to make multitasking, personalization, and notifications more seamless:
- Smarter AI Tools: Enhanced artificial intelligence for improved user experience.
- Now Bar & Now Brief: Live notifications and updates from multiple apps in real-time.
- Flexible Split-Screen: A new multitasking mode allowing apps to be resized and moved into corners, instead of being restricted to a standard 50:50 split.
