Chandigarh: Global software major Adobe on Thursday announced it will provide free access to Photoshop, Acrobat and Firefly, to students across India to strengthen AI skills and support the creator economy. The initiative aligns with the Centre’s focus on artificial intelligence and digital skilling. Students from accredited higher education institutions will receive free access to Adobe’s creativity and productivity tools, along with AI-based learning modules, training and industry-recognised certifications.

Adobe has partnered with Nasscom FutureSkills Prime, supported by the Ministry of Electronics and IT, to offer AI-first courses and certificates. The programme supports the government’s “Create in India” vision and complements the Budget goal of creating two million jobs in the AVGC sector by 2030. Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen said the initiative will empower millions of students and accelerate the vision of Viksit Bharat. The free offering will also extend to 15,000 schools and 500 colleges setting up Content Creator Labs. Students can access the programme through their institutions.
