Affordable Arc 5 & Arc 7 Projectors Now in India

Consumer tech firm Lumio has announced its entry into India’s projector segment with two new models, the Arc 5 and Arc 7, aimed at users seeking mid-tier performance. The devices promise Full HD output and support HDR10, marking the brand’s diversification from televisions to portable projection.
Powered by the MTK 9630 processor, both devices include 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. Lumio said its proprietary Arclight Engine enhances colour accuracy and image detail, while an integrated Under-Stand stand allows versatile placement.
The Arc 5 is listed at Rs 19,999, and the Arc 7 is priced at Rs 34,999. For the upcoming Amazon Prime Day sale from July 12 to 14, the Arc 7 will be offered at a promotional rate of Rs 29,999.
Projector adoption in India currently makes up about 1 per cent of the television market, according to Lumio, which noted the disparity with global markets where penetration ranges from 15 per cent to 20 per cent. The brand seeks to position its offerings between budget and premium segments, which it says are currently underserved.
Lumio CEO Raghu Reddy of parent company Circuit House Technologies said the Arc series delivers Google TV integration, strong visuals, and audio performance in a format that eliminates installation needs. The projectors, he noted, are designed to be simple, portable and supported by the firm’s national service infrastructure.
The Arc 5 weighs approximately 1.33 kg and provides 200 ANSI lumens brightness, with projection coverage up to 100 inches. It includes 5W speakers with Dolby Audio, suitable for compact spaces including hostels and bedrooms.
The Arc 7, offering 400 ANSI lumens and similar projection size, comes equipped with dual 8W stereo speakers, also Dolby Audio certified, catering to larger environments such as family halls or living rooms.
Both models run on Google TV OS, granting users access to more than 10,000 streaming applications. Features include STR8 (Smooth Trapezoidal Recalibration), providing automatic keystone adjustment, focus optimization, and object detection via Time-of-Flight sensors.
Connectivity options include HDMI 2.0 (with ARC), USB 2.0, a 3.5mm audio output, and Bluetooth 5.1. The remote control supports Google Assistant and has dedicated keys for platforms such as Netflix, YouTube, and TLDR, Lumio’s in-house content hub.
