Affordable AI Laptops from HP Debut in India
HP introduces OmniBook 3 and 5 AI laptops in India, starting at Rs 69,999, with long battery life, Snapdragon & Ryzen AI chips, USB-C, and OLED display options.

HP introduced two new AI-enabled laptop series — OmniBook 5 and OmniBook 3 — in the Indian market on Monday, with pricing and features aimed at students, professionals, and general users.
The newly launched OmniBook 5 features the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus X1-26-100 chipset. It includes a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) that can perform up to 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS). Battery efficiency is a key highlight, with HP estimating a usage time of up to 34 hours on a single charge.
The OmniBook 5 sports a 14-inch 2K OLED screen. It supports Windows Studio Effects for auto framing during video calls and comes equipped with HP Audio Boost 2.0 for improved sound clarity using artificial intelligence.
HP’s OmniBook 3 series comes in two display sizes — 14-inch and 15.6-inch — and is powered by AMD Ryzen AI 300 processors. The NPU in these models delivers up to 50 TOPS, improving performance for AI-assisted applications.
This series features a 250-nit display, dual microphones, HP True Vision webcam, and AI-based background noise reduction. Both models include a full-function USB Type-C port, two USB Type-A ports, and an HDMI output.
The HP OmniBook 5 (14-inch) is priced from Rs 75,999 and is offered in Glacier Silver. It will be sold online and at HP-authorized offline retailers.
The OmniBook 3 (14-inch) starts at Rs 69,999, while the 15.6-inch model is priced similarly at Rs 69,999. Both variants are also available in Glacier Silver.
