CM presentation on Musi project on March 13
Revanth Reddy assured the government will provide proper relief and rehabilitation to the displaced
image for illustrative purpose

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has announced that he would make a powerpoint presentation on Musi Rejuvenation Project on March 13 to ally apprehensions raised on displacement , rehabilitation and also the government's vision to develop musi riverfront as a big economic hub.
Participating in Women's Day celebrations here on Sunday, the Chief Minister lambasted the opposition parties for obstructing the prestigious Musi project which is being developed to promote Hyderabad as the global tourist hub.
"In Ahmedabad, 10,000 families were displaced and Sabarmati Riverfront was built.They did not provide proper facilities for them. Yamuna Riverfront was built in Delhi and Ganga Riverfront in UP, the Chief Minister pointed out and wondered why the opposition does not want the Musi project. What is wrong in constructing Gandhi Knowledge Centre with Rs200 crore," he asked.
Revanth Reddy assured the government will provide proper relief and rehabilitation to the displaced. In 2004 an apartment was built in the buffer zone of 9 meters in the Isa river. After making a decision of creating a 50-meter buffer for the rivers, a ban was imposed on constructions. Residents has been invited for talks to address the removal of structures in view of the 50 per cent buffer zone covered. The government assured to allot 7 acres of land and also deposit money required to build an apartment in the land. Unfortunately, the issue was politicised and the leaders showed sympathy, he said
The Chief Minister appealed to people to stop getting carried away by opposition politics. All the buildings in the 50-meter buffer zone are zero value and hence the government is ready to address the grievances of people. He charged that the opposition was obstructing residents of the buffer zone from holding talks with the government on rehabilitation.
Revanth Reddy sought everyone's cooperation to save the city from encroachments and transform it into an international level and become the backbone of the country's economic system.
