YSRCP brushes aside TDP’s allegations, says do not drag God into politics

Amaravati: Taking strong objection to the allegations and propaganda of the coalition government, YSRCP has said that appointing a committee into the Tirupati laddu issue is only a ploy to divert people’s attention from the CBI charge sheet which categorically stated that there is no animal fat in the ghee as claimed by Chandrababu Naidu.

Speaking to the media in New Delhi Thursday, YSRCP MPs YV Subba Reddy, P. Mithun Reddy, M. Gurumoorthy, Golla Babu Rao and others said, the SIT has categorically stated that there is no animal fat in the ghee used for preparing the laddus and did not mention any names of YSRCP leaders, which is a matter that could not be digested by Chandrababu and he is now unleashing false propaganda and has set up a committee to mouth the TDP version.

Condemning Chandrababu for dragging Lord Venkateswara into political controversy, they brushed aside the allegations that the CFTI report was put under wraps by TTD and said it was YV Subba Reddy who wrote to the Central Food Technology Research Institute to carry out the probe but the officials did not bring it to their notice.
