Visakhapatnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) hosted a first of its kind interactive meet with Vizianagaram Chamber of Commerce along with youth and women’s wings and discussed the past and future activities of the chamber along with the current industry scenario and issues/challenges faced by the business community.
The meeting was chaired jointly by Sudarsan Swamy Mangalagiri, president, VCCI and Prakash, president of Vizianagaram Chamber.
The interactive session was attended by over 85 members including Rolland Williams and Md Riaz Khan, honorary secretaries of VCCI and others.
The objective of the meeting was to exchange business ideas and explore opportunities in both the districts. Winston Adams, vice president, Fluentgrid Limited said that when all industry committee segments are pretty actively engaged at Vizianagaram - if a IT sub-committee can be established, Vizianagaram could be developed as another IT hub. He said it can offers jobs to youngsters passing out from the region locally.
