VijayawadaTDP members created ruckus in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and Council on Thursday following rejection of the adjournment motions moved by them in protest against what they termed the arrest of their party president N. Chandrababu Naidu in the alleged skill development scam.

Led by State president K. Atchan Naidu, the TDP MLAs came in a padayatra to attend the legislative session.

Describing the arrest at Nandyal on September 9 when he was asleep as a case of political vendetta, they demanded adoption of the adjournment motions in both houses as soon as they met for the winter session.

Din prevailed as TDP members rushed to the well of the House, surrounded the Assembly Speaker and Council Chairman and tore papers and engaged in slogan shouting at the top of their voice. Nothing was audible in the din that followed forcing the Chair of both the Houses to adjourn for sometime to restore order.

Earlier, their pleas for suspension of Question Hour was turned down by Speaker Tammineni Sitharam in the Assembly.

When TDP member from Hindupur showed his moustache, Irrigation Minister Ambati Rambabu told him that he should maintain decorum of the House and refrain from indulging in such gesticulations. "Remember, Assembly is not a cinema," he told the actor-son of late N.T. Rama Rao, the founder of TDP.

Ministers Botcha Satyanarayana, Gudivada Amarnath and Bugganna Rajendranath later said the YSRCP was ready for a comprehensive discussion later on the Rs.371-crore skill development corporation scam in which Naidu has been made A-37 in the FIR registered by CID.

The Ministers urged the Chair to take action against unruly members for trying to stall the proceedings by indulging in pandemonium.

Tourism Minister R.K. Roja told at the media point that the TDP members were stalling the Legislature after coming to the conclusion that their leader has been caught with evidence in the skill development scam. She alleged that the TDP MLAs were indulging in rowdyism by threatening the Speaker.

Meanwhile, Nara Bhubaneswari, wife of Naidu visited the relay hunger strike camp at Rajamahendravaram where senior leader and MLA Butchaiah Choudhary was sitting on a fast over arrest of Naidu.

Following noisy scenes, TDP MLAs and MLCs were suspended for creating 'ugly' scenes separately in both the Houses
