Hyderabad: In a press conference today, TDP National Spokesperson Prof. Jyothsna Tirunagari demanded answers from Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy regarding the Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy murder case. Prof. Tirunagari raised concerns about the deliberate attempts to halt the investigation process, shedding light on what she described as a concerning state of law and order in the state.

The recent revelations by Y.S. Sunitha, daughter of the late Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy, have brought to the forefront allegations of interference by CM Jagan Mohan Reddy in the case. Prof. Tirunagari expressed shock at the tragic murder within the family, stating, "The tragic murder of Jagan's own uncle reveals a web of deceit and criminality that seem to reach the top of the incumbent leadership."

Highlighting the significance of the ongoing CBI investigation, Prof. Tirunagari questioned the motives behind hindering the process, "The CBI investigation of Y.S. Vivekananda has revealed crucial information about the high-profile involvement of those who are close to CM Jagan. What is being concealed? And why? Who is Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy trying to protect?"

The TDP spokesperson emphasized that CM Jagan Mohan Reddy needs to provide answers to Dr. Sunitha's questions. "Jagan was the first person to come out to the press about the death of his uncle. In that context, Jagan needs to answer and state his reason for halting the investigation."

Prof. Tirunagari reiterated TDP's support for Dr. Sunitha in her pursuit of justice, stating, "We stand by Dr. Sunitha in her fight for justice. Dr. Sunitha deserves an answer. The people of Andhra Pradesh deserve an answer. We demand that Jagan come out and clarify his reason for hindering the case."
