Suchitra Academy to set up `125cr campus in Hyderabad
Partners with UK’s Whitgift School to start a day-school in a 5-acre land at Kollur by Aug 2025
Hyderabad: Hyderabad-based Sagebrook Academy & Suchitra Academy’s Symbiquest Education has signed an MoU with Whitgift School, a prestigious school from London, UK established in 1596. With this collaboration, the academy is setting up a new school in the city. The day-school is expected to come up in a 5-acre campus at Kollur-Velimela by August 2025.
“The academy is investing around Rs 125 crore to set up this school. Most of the funds would be from internal accruals and bank loans,” Praveen Raju, Founder Director of Sagebrook Academy & Suchitra Academy, told Bizz Buzz. “Whitgift School will provide their expertise to us. The school will focus on fostering global citizenship and cultural diversity.”
He further said: “Earlier, the rich people were used to send their kids abroad for education; now the global educational brands are coming here to establish their schools. The British and American schools have already partnered with many educational institutions in Middle-East as well as South-East Asian countries. This trend will continue in India also.”

He also mentioned that this school will be featuring the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) programme marks a historic moment in education.
