SLG Hospital unveils package for elders

On the occasion of World Health Day, SLG Hospital announced free medical care package for elders above 60 years of age.

Hyderabad: On the occasion of World Health Day, SLG Hospital announced free medical care package for elders above 60 years of age. The package is valid from April 7 – 14, 2023, wherein ECG, 2D Echo, X-ray, RBS, and Dexascan will be done at free of cost. Consultations with physicians and cardiologists will also be available. On additional tests suggested by the doctors, a 50 per cent discount will be given.

For the event, CBI former Joint Director V V Laxminarayana was the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, he said, “SLG Hospital has served Covid-19 patients with a dedicated 250-bed facility. The hospital is serving patients with state-of-the-art medical facilities, and the best medical infrastructure. I should congratulate the CMD of the hospital, Dandu Sivarama Raju.”

Highlighting the hospital’s features, he further said that air ambulances can land directly at the hospital from where the patients can be taken directly to the operation theatre. The pharmacy has the facility to provide medicines directly to the patient’s wards. Equipments worth crores are available here to treat cancer patients, he added.

Urging people to make use of their health package, DVS Somaraju, Executive Director, SLG Hospital said, “Maintaining health should be the priority for all. On the occasion of World Health Day, a week-long healthcare package has been announced, especially for the elders. Certain tests will be done for free and additional tests referred by the doctor will cost half of the price.”

Doctors of different specialties, nurses, and other staff from various departments of the hospital were present.
