Visakhapatnam: Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant has taken up several activities by observing Iconic Week as per the call given by the Ministry of Steel.
The week is being observed from July 4 to 10 as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations. RINL organised a seminar on "Increasing steel consumption: Steel usage way forward" under the aegis of Institute for Steel Development & Growth (INSDAG)-a not-for-profit, member-based organisation established by the Government of India (Ministry of Steel) and major steel producers of the country in 1996).
The programme was streamed live at HRD Centre, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant in which 80 executives of RINL participated. In addition to this, 60 executives from 22 outstation marketing offices of RINL also participated.
