RINL employees get 6 INSAAN awards

Visakhapatnam: Six employees from Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) have received INSAAN awards for their suggestions and technical papers.

They got the honour at the recently held 32nd national convention of Indian National Suggestion Schemes'Association (INSSAN) held on the "creativity and innovation of employees for organizations' business success" in New Delhi.

Founded in 1987, INSSAN is a non-profit making registered association of industrial and business organisations dedicated to the promotion of employee involvement through suggestions/ideas.

The summit was organised by INSSAN with the objective of helping organisations in "igniting the minds of employees" for being creative and innovative and also to support the organisations in nurturing "creativity culture" so that creativity is institutionalised where each and every employee enjoys in giving creative contribution and creative value addition to support the organisational objective of business excellence.

Meanwhile, RINL Chairman-cum-Managing Director Atul Bhatt congratulated all the winners for enhancing the glory of the company by bagging the prestigious INSSAN awards at the national level.

All the six participants presented their case studies and received the prestigious INSSAN awards. Under the best suggestor category, V V Pavan Kumar Kotla, deputy manager from ES&F department and Y Appala Raju, senior technician from SMS departments of RINL-Visakhapatnam Steel Plant received the 'par-excellence' awards while T Venu, manager (Operation), MMSM department was presented the 'excellent' award.

Under the best technical category, Mohammed Abdullah, senior manager (electrical) from SMS department received the 'par-excellence' award, Ayantia Roy, senior manager from corporate strategic management (CSM) department received the 'excellent' award and Pravas Kumar Das, AGM from D&E department of RINL was honoured with the 'distinguished' award from the eminent dignitaries.
