Questions arise over Raghav Chadha's whereabouts following the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal

Raghav Chadha's absence following Arvind Kejriwal's arrest raises questions about his whereabouts. Speculation suggests he's avoiding the Enforcement Directorate's probe into Delhi's liquor policy. Kejriwal's arrest by the federal agency led to his judicial custody until April 15.

Chadha's whereabouts continue to puzzle many amidst the current political landscape in Delhi. According to his social media account, he's been in London since March 8 for an eye surgery called vitrectomy. He participated in the London India Forum 2024, where he spoke at the London School of Economics on March 9. However, his meeting with UK Parliamentarian Preet Kaur Gill sparked criticism from the BJP due to her alleged support for separatism.

Chadha also attended the Prime Minister's Question Session at the House of Commons on March 20. Following Kejriwal's arrest on March 21, Chadha condemned it through social media posts and released a video message criticising the Central Government.

Since then, he has been sharing updates about AAP's activities on social media. Raghav Chadha's activities after Kejriwal's arrest include his last public appearance in India, which was on March 2, when he congratulated a fellow AAP leader for their candidature for the south Delhi Lok Sabha seat.

Raghav Chadha's role amid current political turmoil and his absence has raised questions from both the BJP and within the INDIA Bloc. NCP leader Jitendra Awhad questioned his absence in Delhi when Kejriwal was arrested. BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya and Punjab BJP chief Sunil Jakhar also raised questions regarding Raghav Chadha's absence, especially during the political climate and upcoming elections.

Despite the Enforcement Directorate mentioning Chadha's name in the case, he hasn't been officially called for questioning. Delhi Cabinet Minister Atishi claimed that Chadha, along with other AAP members, would likely face arrest by the agency soon.
