Oppn jealous of YSRCP popularity, says Roja

Vijayawada: Tourism Minister RK Roja on Wednesday said the Opposition mainly the Telugu Desam Party was spreading a malicious campaign against YSRCP due to its jealousy over growing popularity of YSRCP.

Asserting that the State Government had women welfare high on priority list, she said that the Opposition had no moral right to speak on women safety. Addressing a press conference at Tadepalli near here, the Minister stated that TDP leaders under the guidance of N Chandrababu Naidu were spreading falsehood hy trying to create chaos over every issue to gain political mileage.

She said that the Opposition, unable to digest the good governance, was resorting to cheap politics to defame Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, and warned that action would be taken against those leaders who made abusive remarks on the Chief Minister and his wife. "Naidu doesn't even know how to console a woman victim without publicising or politicising the incident and even went overboard by attacking the Chairperson of the Women's Commission," she allowed.
